John Branch
John Branch has been the editorial cartoonist of the San Antonio Express-News since 1981. He began his career at The Daily Tar Heel at the University of North Carolina in 1975. Branch graduated in 1976 with a degree in studio art, and began drawing for his home town paper, The Chapel Hill Newspaper. His work work has been reprinted in The New York Times, USA Today, Newsweek and many other publications throughout the country. A member and former officer of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists, Branch has had two collections of his work published, "Would You Buy a Used Cartoon From This Man?" and "Out on a Limb."
