Bio
Eric Semelroth is assistant graphics editor for Modern Healthcare magazine, published by Crain Communications. His media background includes being an editorial artist for the Daily Herald, Illinois' third-largest newspaper, and editorial cartoonist for the Lombardian and Villa Park Review. He was also a contributing artist and cartoonist to Strong Coffee, a now defunct Chicago-area independent newspaper.
As an adjunct art instructor, he taught many classes over many years at various Illinois community colleges.
His education includes a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Painting from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
In 1993, he published Cartoon Manifesto, a collection of 50 black and white, single-panel cartoons.
