As a Pacific NW native, I sport webbed feet and never seem to find an umbrella. After 42 years in telecom, retirement brought out a different venue (as well as dispensing with the line "don't quit your day job"). I sketched cartoons from my high school newspaper, union newsletter and was a columnist for the Eatonville (WA) Dispatch, but now the bug is back. Most of sketches are about local issues, but the latest political madness provides material that is hard to resist (and is good therapy as well!). As an AAEC associate member, I continue to work on my craft as a non-commercial venture, and have the highest respect and support for the professionalism of colleagues in the field, and am a staunch defender of civil liberties and the First Amendment.
