The AAEC and Association of Canadian Cartoonists will be joining with the Cartoon Art Museum in San Franscisco for a 3-day celebration of editorial art and political cartoonists, October 5-8, 2023.

U of VA to be Pat Oliphant’s forever home

Pat Oliphant,one of the most influential political cartoonists of the 20th century, has donated his papers to the University of Virginia, an archive that includes correspondence, original artwork, sketchbooks & sculptures. 
 
 
 
UPDATE: Radio IQ talks to Pat Oliphant about the recent donation of his papers to the University of Virginia. The school plans a major exhibition of Oliphant’s work in the fall of 2019.
