The AAEC and Association of Canadian Cartoonists will be teaming up with the Université du Québec à Montréal for a 3-day celebration political cartoonists, October 3-6, 2024.

New show on old cartoons

Like history? Love cartoons? In Baton Rouge? Be sure to stop by the Old State Capitol for the new exhibit "Lines with Power and Purpose: Editorial Cartoons,” showing July 5 through Sept. 29. The collection features "cartoons from the so-called 'Golden Age' of print journalism —the first half of the 20th century— and includes the work of six Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonists."

The AAEC aims to be an international leader in support of the human, civil, and artistic rights of editorial cartoonists around the world, and to stand with other international groups in support of the profession.
